[tex]10 \frac{2}{3} ( \frac{31}{8}) [/tex] can be changed into this equation:

[tex] \frac{32}{3}( \frac{31}{8} )[/tex]

The 32 and 8 have a common factor of 8 and can be simplified to become this equation:

[tex] \frac{4}{3} ( \frac{31}{1}) [/tex]

Now multiply across to get [tex] \frac{124}{3} [/tex] which then simplifies to [tex]41 \frac{1}{3} [/tex] which as a decimal is 41.333 (repeating 3s). Nearest whole number is 41.

Your answer is 41
