A codon ACC corresponds to the amino acid Threonine. A codon is the combination of three nucleotides that form a single of DNA. All 64 possible 3-letter combinations of the DNA coding units T, C, A and G are used to code all the amino acids. Each codon codes for only one amino acid. Three codons namely UGA, UAA and UAG are non-sense codons as they do not codes for any amino acids
