This touches on the main issue of balancing the rights of all citizens. As a society we are guaranteed public rights for the good of the group. As individuals, we are guaranteed rights to preserve our own freedom. In this example and in so many others, it is important to balance the right of freedom of the press with the freedom of a free and fair trial.
