Answer: RMS = sqrt 3RT/M R is gas constant in (kg·m 2 /sec 2 )/K·mol; T is temp in K; M is molar mass in kg 181 m/s = sqrt (3)(8.314)(412)/M sqrt M = 0.55 M = 0.298 kg = 298 g
