What is the equation of a line with a slope of 2 that goes through the point (4,12)?

Formula for point-slope: [tex]y - y1 = m(x-x1)[/tex]
Plug in the values: [tex]y -12 = 2(x - 4) [/tex]

And there you have your answer in point-slope form
