first lets change 2 2/3 into a improper fraction

multiply 2 x 3 to 6

add 6 + 2 to 8

now do 8 x 1 over 3 x 2

multiply 8 x 1 to 8

multiply 3 x 2 to 6 (8/6)

simplify (4/3)
