Our equation should takes the form:

y - y1 = m (x - x1)

where m is the slope and (x1 , y1) is the point given

Substitute now:

m  = 6
point = (2 ,3)

y - 3 = 6 (x - 2)

simplify:

y - 3 = 6x - 12

y = 6x - 12 + 3

y = 6x - 9

Here is your equation as it should look like

I hope you got the idea!
