The length of a rectangle is 3 inches greater than its width. The perimeter of a rectangle is 27 inches. Find the length and width.

5.25 is the width
8.25 inch is the length
I subtracted 6 from 27 then divided the answer by 4 to get the width.
And after you find the width, you know what to do next
