Solve -vp + 30 < 45 for v

first we start by subtracting over the 30 to the right side of the equation.
-vp<45-30
-vp<15
then to isolate v, we have to divide by -p
v>-15/p
(remember to switch the less than sign to greater than because we brought over a negative to the other side)

final answer: v>-15/p

-vp+30<45  subtract 30 from both sides

-vp<15 divide both sides by -p (and reverse direction of inequality sign because of division/multiplication by a negative value)
