Bacteria need the right kind of food to grow on. generally, they prefer foods that are high in protein, slightly acidic, and water supply (moisture). It is important to keep food away from bacteria, because bacteria is the main reason for food poisoning. Bacteria need also moisture to grow- moisture in ‘wet’ foods ( juicy meats, , soups, sauces..).
The temperature danger zone is
5ºC and 63ºC- bacteria grow best in this temperature frame.
