NTFS incorporates extended attributes and additional security features. For every document stored on an NTFS environment, the security tab in the properties window is used to specify which groups and users have access to which permissions and what level of access is permitted. It also supports data encryption and allows for unauthorized data access from users who are not allowed to access the file.
