█ Explanation █

Solve for n.

✦ [tex]n+ \frac{1}{2} = \frac{7}{4} [/tex]
✦ Subtract [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex] from both sides.
✦ [tex]n+ \frac{1}{2} - \frac{1}{2} = \frac{7}{4} - \frac{1}{2} [/tex]
✦ [tex]n= \frac{5}{4} [/tex]

Answer: [tex] \frac{5}{4} [/tex]
