3/4+ 3/8= ?

Look for the G.C.F. = 8

Multiply 3/4 by 2 top and bottom

6/8+ 3/8

Answer: 9/8

Both fractions need the same denominators. In this case, it is eight. 3/4 * 2/2 = 6/8 + 3/8 = 9/8
