Percent change of 40 to 72

[tex] \frac{72-40}{40} \times 100[/tex]

[tex] \frac{32}{40} \times 100[/tex]

[tex].8 \times 100[/tex]

[tex]=80[/tex]%

Which is an 80% increase :)
