For #1, I believe that a good answer could be that the thesis is not necessarily arguable like thesis’s should typically be. Theres no argument or disagreement that someone could make about it, so its not a really good defensible thesis. A good rewritten one could be formatted like “Thesis (A) is more convincing than Thesis (B) because of (reason 1), (reason 2), and (reason 3). This formatting is only good if the wording actually applies to the general idea in which YOU made
