A triangle has sides x-2, x,and 3x+1. The perimeter is 24. Solve for the missing side lengths.

(x-1)+x+(3x+1)=24

5x=24

5x/5=24/5

x=24/5

x-1= 24/5 -1

=3.8

x=24/5=4.8

3x+1=3(24/5)+1

=15.4
