Discriminant: b²-4ac = 9 - 4 (3)(2) = -15

Answer:

Given:-

Y = 3x² - 3x + 2

Find : - Discriminant

Y = ax² - bx + c

Discriminant is : - Y = b² - 4ac

So, Discriminant is :-

(-3²) - 4 (3) (2)

= 9-24

=-15

If b² - 4ac < 0.

The equation has no real solution but it does have complex solution.
