Find the LCD (least common denominator)
[tex] \frac{5}{6} and \frac{1}{4} [/tex]

it would be 12 (6x2=12 and 4x3=12)

so you multiply [tex] \frac{5}{6} [/tex] by 2 and get [tex] \frac{10}{12} [/tex]
then multiply [tex] \frac{1}{4} [/tex] by 3 and get [tex] \frac{3}{12} [/tex]

you get 3 WHOLE servings from [tex] \frac{5}{6} [/tex] cups of icecream
