10x = [tex] \frac{6-10-5x}{2} [/tex]

Eliminate the denominator
2(10x)=2([tex]\frac{6-10-5x}{2} [/tex])

Leaving us with
20x = 6-10-5x

Collect like terms
20x+5x=-4

Simplify
25x=-4

Divide everything by 25 to isolate x
(25x=-4)[tex] \frac{1}{25} [/tex]

Thus
x=[tex] \frac{-4}{25} [/tex]
