y=4x , 2y + 2.5x = 105

Substituting y=4x in 2y + 2.5x = 105, we get;

=) 2(4x) + 2.5x = 105

=) 8x + 2.5x = 105

=) 10.5x = 105

=) x = 105 × 10/105

=) x = 10

Substituting x = 10 in y=4x, we get;

=) y = 4(10)

=) y = 40

Therefore, the value of x is 10 and y is 40
