The National Benchmark Tests (NBTs) areĀ assessments for first-year applicants into higher education institutions. The NBTs were designed to measure a writer's ability to transfer understanding of Academic Literacy, Quantitative Literacy and Mathematics to the demands of tertiary coursework.
