Context clues are when you take a look to find hints or clues to find the definition of the word you are unfamiliar with. Most of the time, you look for a word near the unfamiliar one, and it might end up having a similar meaning. You can use this to you’re advantage by trying to figure out the definitions of new words without looking them up.
