Slope-intercept form:   Y = Mx + B

First find slope: [tex]\frac{rise}{run}[/tex]

-1/3 = Slope

Now we have: Y = -1/3 + B

Then find the Y-intercept (B)  This is were the line crosses the y line (vertical)

B = 3

Therefore, Y = -1/3x + 3
