A) -3(cos0+isin0)
B) 3(cos pi+isin pi)
C) -3(cos3pi/2+isin 3pi/2)
D) 3(cos pi/2+isin pi/2)

The answer is D. It is
 obtained because, [tex]r= \sqrt{ 0.0^{2} + 3.0^{2} } = 3.0 [/tex] and [tex] \alpha = arctan ( \frac{3.0}{0.0} ) = 90.0^{o} [/tex]

hence in polar form [tex]3(cos \frac{ \pi }2} + sin \frac{ \pi }{2}i) [/tex]
