Given two points (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂) the slope of the line passes through these points will be:
m=(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁)

In this case; our points will be (3,-5) and (0,1), and the slope will be:
m=(1+5)/(0-3)=6/(-3)=-2

Answer: the slope would be -2
