Let's use the distance formula: [tex] \sqrt{ (x_{1} - x_{2})^{2} + (y_{1} - y_{2})^{2}[/tex]

So it is:

AB : [tex] \sqrt{(-5)^2 + 8^2} = 9.43[/tex]
BC: [tex] \sqrt{5^2 + 0^2 } = 5[/tex]
CA: [tex] \sqrt{0^2 + 8^2} = 8 [/tex]

So 9.43 + 5 + 8 =22.43
