Answer:

let 3:2 be 3x& 2x

perimeter =40

2(l+b)=40

2(3x+2x)=40

5x=40/2

x=20/5=4cm

length=3x=3×x=3×4=12cm

breadth =2x=2×4=8cm

area of rectangle =l×b=12×8=96cm²
