The force on the cork is the weight of all the water that's directly over it. That's the water in a tall, skinny cylinder that's 2.0m long and has a base area of 2 cm^2.

Find the volume of that cylinder, use the density to find the mass of the water in that volume, then m•g to find the weight of that mass.
