How could you use the product of 10x42=420 to find the product of 5x42?

In this case, it's clear that 5 is half of ten, therefore, you have to divide the first equation in half, giving you 5x42= 210. If it was something such as 20x24, you just work the answer from the multiple of ten. Hope this helpsn
