Solve the following equation by COMBINING LIKE TERMS FIRST: 3x + 3 - x + 4 = 21

3x + 3 - x + 4 = 21

3x - x = 2x

2x +3 +4 = 21

3 + 4 = 7

2x + 7 = 21
      -7    -7

2x = 14
