A gas has a temperature of 40C at a pressure of 400 atm. What is the pressure at 60C?

First, we have to put this information into a ratio

40 = 400

60 = x

Cross multiply (40*x) = (60*400)

40 x= 24000

Divide both sides by 40

24000/40= 600

Therefore, a gas has pressure of 600 atm when heated to 60C
