First we calculate the pH of the solution [H⁺]:

pH = - log [H⁺]

pH = - log [ 1.7 x 10⁻⁹]

pH = 8.769

pH + pOH = 14

8.769 + pOH = 14

pOH = 14 - 8.769

pOH = 5.231

hope this helps!
