It is NOT possible for a solution to be both x<9 and x>9

It IS possible for a solution to be both x≤9 and x≥9

Step-by-step explanation:

Because for x<9 and x>9 the GREATER than symbol means it less than 9 and cannot be 9 or it is greater than 9 but cannot be 9.

With x≤9 and x≥9 the greater than or EQUAL sign makes a big difference. Because x≥9 may be the actual solution but since it is possible to be  equal to 9 so can x≤9.

(Sorry if this seemed very confusing to explain).
