Subtract 20 from both sides

-2(x + 5) > 6 - 20

Simplify 6 - 20 to -14

-2(z + 5) > -14

Divide both sides by -2

z + 5 < -14/-2

Two negatives make a positive

z + 5 < 14/2

Simplify 14/2 to 7

z + 5 < 7

Subtract 5 from both sides

z < 7 - 5

Simplify 7 - 5 to 2

z < 2
