Explanation:  

A number (n) increased by 6 = n + 6

Less than equal to 4 = ≤ 4

Keeping in view the question we deduce the equation  

n + 6 ≤ 4

Solve the above equation accordingly,

n  ≤  4 - 6

n≤ - 2

So n is less than or equal to -2 and anything below
