Hey there!!

The equation given = 3x² + 15x - 18 = 0

a = 3

b = 15

c = -18

Quadratic formula =

- b ± √(b² - 4ac ) / 2a

- 15 ± √ ( 225 + 216 ) / 6

-15 ± √ (  441 ) / 6

-15 ±  21 / 6

- 15 + 21 / 6

=  6 / 6 = 1  is one of the answer.

- 15 - 21 / 6

- 36 / 6  = -6 is the second answer.

Answers = 1 and -6

Hope my answer helps!
