7/6 g = 14

Add 2/3 and 1/2. Multiply 2/3 by 2/2 and 1/2 by 3/3 to make both fractions have common denominators.

  1. 2/3 * 2/2 = 4/6
  2. 1/2 * 3/3 = 3/6
