Work out the value of xy+y when x=-3 and y=2

First we replace the values
So xy+y becomes (-3)(2)+2
Then we multiply -3 times 2, which equals -6
-3*2=-6
Then we add 2 to -6, which equals -4
-6+2=-4

So xy+y=-4
