Left knee arthroscopy, synovectomy of the notch, chondroplasty patella. arthroscope was inserted and patient noted to have marked synovitis of the notch. synovial tissue was excised with the shaver. there was noted to be diffuse grade iv changes, and articular cartilage flaps were smoothed with a shaver.
