You have a patient who has a tracheostomy. your care includes:

a) Suctioning the outer part of the tube if becomes clogged with mucus
b) Checking to see of the cuff is inflated before feeding the patient
c) Changing the ties if they are loose or soiled.
d) keeping the patient in a semi fowler position to promote drainage
