PROTESTS, STRIKES - BUT NO RIGHTS FOR WORKERS
In the Edwardian era, there were lots of protests from workers who went on
strike. Employers and businessmen didn't like this and didn't want to give
workers any rights. Employees had few rights and could be easily dismissed.
