how did British taxes on American colonists lead to the American Revolution

Answer:

British taxes made the colonists mad because they didn't understand why they should have to pay taxes for a war the British caused and that they won the war why does it feel like they still need to give more to the brits. This lead the British to tax more and made the colonists get more and more outraged till this started the American revolution.
